About
The Daily Man is an anonymous ministry site. There is no byline and no personality brand — only Scripture, confession, and clear prose for men who intend to follow Christ.
What we publish
Daily devotionals walk sequentially through the Gospel of John in bite-size portions (~700–1000 words). Weekly apologetics (Tuesdays) address the questions that press against a Reformed, Scripture-first faith. News is reserved for later.
Statement of faith
We stand with the historic Reformed confessions — particularly the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689 — as faithful summaries of biblical teaching. We gladly confess the doctrines of grace, the sufficiency and clarity of Scripture, and the absolute sovereignty of God in creation, providence, and redemption.
Confessional alignment and stated exceptions
- Baptism. We hold credo-baptism: baptism is for believers who profess faith in Christ, not for infants as a covenantal sign in the paedobaptist sense.
- Images of Christ. We allow careful artistic depictions of Christ for teaching and devotion; we reject idolatry and any use that confuses the image with worship of the creature.
- Providence. We confess a heavy, meticulous providence: nothing falls outside the counsel of God, including the hard providences that shape a man’s life.
- Creation. We hold a young-earth reading of Genesis: God created in six ordinary days, and human history is measured in thousands of years, not deep time.
Authority
Scripture alone is the final authority. Confessions serve the church; they do not rule over the Word. Where we write, we aim for the anonymous professional voice of a pastor and teacher — not a platform personality.
